Introducing Pax JDBC

The OPS4J community is happy to announce a new project Pax JDBC which simplifies the usage of JDBC drivers in OSGi applications by extending or adapting drivers according to the OSGi Enterprise JDBC Service specification.

An initial release Pax JDBC 0.1.0 is now available from Maven Central. This release includes

  • a generic driver extender
  • an Apache Derby driver adapter
  • a PostgreSQL driver adapter

Users are invited to contribute driver adapters for their favourite database. Please send any questions or feedback to the OPS4J mailing list.
