OPS4J stands for Open Participation Software for Java.
OPS4J is a community that is trying to build a new, more open model for Open Source development, where not only the usage is Open and Free, but the Participation is Open as well. Removal of barriers, let more people in, have more fun and less politics. Open Development has also been used to describe this concept.
Think of it as Wiki brought to Coding. Wikipedia is of course the most outstanding example of open collaboration.
If this is your first visit to OPS4J, we recommend you the Introduction.

PAX JDBC 0.9.0 Released

The PAX JDBC team is happy to announce the release of OPS4J Pax JDBC 0.9.0.

This release adds DB2 DataSourceFactory and OSGi capability headers. pax-jdbc-config now supports hidden properties (starting with a dot) which are forwarded to the DataSourceFactory but are not published in the service registry.

Additionally, pax-jdbc-config only forwards local properties (not containing a dot) as well als properties prefixed with "jdbc." to DataSourceFactories. This means that non-local configuration properties like "aries.xa.name" are published in the service registry but not forwarded for DataSourceFactory instantiation.

Pax JDBC artifacts will be available in Maven Central.

Changes since 0.8.0
