Pax Coin - What and Why
Pax Coin is an implementation of OSGi Configuration Admin specification. Pax Coin distinguish itself form other Configuration Admin implementations (as the ones provided by Felix, Equinox or Knopflerfish) by leveraging configurations from a diverse set of sources, such as file system or bundle content (and some more), rather then using an internal persistence store. The main advantage of this approach is that it becomes trivial to configure OSGi configuration targets by using known formats (for example properties files).
In short the main goal is to allow configuration from many sources using common pluggable formats.
