      Description

      Goal

A new GlassFish container is derived from Native Container. It launches an Equinox or Felix framework and starts the GlassFish bootstrap bundle. This is enough to install and start all remaining GlassFish bundles.

Pax Exam tests can provision OSGi bundles to the GlassFish container or deploy traditional WARs, using new Exam options. This allows testing hybrid Java EE/OSGi applications, built from a combination of OSGI bundles, WABs and ordinary WARs.

      The container supports GlassFish 3.1.1.

Implemented in pax-exam-container-glassfish. This container works with GlassFish 3.1.2 Web Profile by default. It can also be used with the Full Profile.

Specify the installation directory with the pax.exam.server.home configuration property.

If the directory is empty, the GlassFish Maven distribution artifact will be downloaded and installed.
